A chilly morning at Ruby Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Nevada, created frost all over the rushes that lasted well after sunrise.  I was the only visitor, and I stayed here two nights, loving the scenery, quiet solitude, crisp weather, and abundant birdlife, including a harrier hawk (too fast) and a Sandhill crane, way off in the distance.
