Arriving at the Columbia Icefields Centre at 7:25 AM in Jasper National Park, Alberta, I was walking up the entrance stairs to see about a latte when I turned to look across the street and saw the sunlight hitting the ridge in the foreground just in front of Athabasca Glacier. I took the shot and then went inside for that latte. They didn’t have an espresso machine, so I went back out to make my own coffee in my camper. By then the magic light had gone.
