As I was leaving Cottonwood Campground in Theodore Roosevelt National Park I noticed the rising sun trying to peek through this supreme entanglement, with a lone, bleached log accenting the scene.  I took the shot from my driver’s seat, with the camera perched on the edge of the open window.
